Every Monday on the Esplanade from 10am to 4pm. A project by UniPoly with the following products:

  • Fruits and vegetables (H. Blanc from Denges, organic label)
  • Cheese (L. Alves)
  • Bakery
  • Tea
  • Hungarian specialities (Kürtőskalács)

Participatory vegetable gardens

PotaGR est un potager participatif mis en place en 2015 par l’assoctiation Tree. Huit bacs potagers sont entretenus tout au long de l’année par les étudiants et les doctorants de l’EPFL.

Le projet Campus Farmers, ce sont des plantes comestibles placées sur tout le campus et accessibles à toutes et tous.


In 2012, three PolyGrill electric barbecues were installed in Ecublens and Neuchâtel (Microcity). EPFL students and employees can be book them for free via myCamipro. Monday to Friday, 11am-2pm and 5pm-10pm.

The project is supported by the EPFL Students Foundation (FEE).

Other initiatives

  • Fourchette verte” menus in most restaurants
  • “Vegetarian cooking” trainig course followed by 15 cooks.
  • Organization of four “zero meat day” on the whole campus in 2014, in collaboration with the association Unipoly.
  • Reusable lunchbox for takeaway at the food trucks and restaurants
